My Favorite Charting Software
1- TradingView
TradingView is my top pick for the best charting software for all markets, including stocks, crypto, futures, and forex. You can use most of the features for free, including nearly real-time data for most assets. It also supports advanced indicators like the volume profile, market profile, and footprint charts. When you use my affiliate link you can get a free trial of the premium features plus a discount toward your subscription.

TrendSpider is my second favorite charting software, and it offers advanced indicators like volume by price and automated technical analysis tools. However, it is more expensive than TradingView and doesn’t offer a freemium model. However, you can get a discount when you use my affiliate link to sign up and enter the promo code: FTW25.
Get -25% Off TrendSpider3- thinkorswim
thinkorswim is a great charting platform, but it requires you to have a Schwab account to access. If you do not already have a Schwab account, I would recommend using TradingView.

1- Option Omega
Option Omega is by far the best options backtesting software in my opinion. You can perform 10+ year automated backtests in minutes with 1-minute historical data, which is about as accurate as it will get. You can get a free trial plus 50% off your subscription when you use my Option Omega affiliate link.

1- Schwab
Schwab is great because it allows you to use the thinkorswim platform for free, it offers banking services, and it is large and well-established.
Visit Schwab2- tastytrade
tastytrade is an awesome broker for active traders, and comes with a top-tier mobile app. The charting isn’t as customizable as thinkorswim, but it does run a lot smoother. If you use my referral link to sign up you can get a decent sign up bonus as well.

Robinhood gets some hate, but in general, it is an awesome broker. Plus it gives you a good interest rate on your uninvested cash if you are a gold member. The platform itself is incredibly easy to use and is a solid option for those who aren’t super active traders. If you use my referral link to sign up you can also get a free stock.

While TradingView is mostly known for its charting and technical analysis features, it has an awesome economic calendar you can access straight from your charts on the right-side toolbar. It also has a great stock screener which allows you to scan based on fundamental data.

Finviz is an awesome free tool I use to quickly analyze the fundamentals of a company. You can see important metrics plus a chart of any stocks such as the P/E ratio, P/S ratio, shares outstanding, revenue, income, analyst price targets, and much more for free with Finviz. They also offer a Finviz Elite subscription, which may be worth checking out if you enjoy the free version. You can use my affiliate link below to potentially get a deal on an Elite subscription.

Yahoo Finance allows me to view the recent financial statements of a company by year and quarter. Normally, you would have to go to the SEC Edgar website to view financial statements, but Yahoo Finance conveniently organizes everything into a central spot, all for free.
